Cass Baker

Greeley, Colo. – Cass Baker, 28 of Greeley, passed away June 6, 2014 at his home. He was born June 21, 1985 to Jim and Cherie (Baker) Lamica in Greeley. He married Maria Lopez August 12, 2013 in Greeley, Colo.

Cass resided in Galena, Kan., and Joplin, Mo., before moving back to Greeley. He attended Job Corps in Rapid City, S.D., graduating in 2004. He also attended Aims Community College for a year.

Cass worked for the Greeley Country Club, Missouri Southern University and NCMC in the food industry. He attended New Hope Christian Fellowship Church.

Cass loved music, playing lead guitar with “Spirits of Abomination”, loved art, wrestling, and had a strong love for animals.

He is survived by his wife Maria L. Baker; parents Jim Lamica (Gina Campbell) and Cherie Lamica (Dwayne McCurly); parents-in-law Francisco (Olga) Lopez; brother Dustin Lamica; sisters Sarah, Bria, and Tamika Lamica; grandparents, Pat Lamica, Elmer Lamica, Calvin (Wanda) Baker; brother-in-laws, Esteban and Samuel Lopez; niece Delilah; great grandmother, Pansy Baker; great grandfather, Howard Wammack; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dog- Malo.

He was preceded in death by his Great grandfather, Calvin Baker Sr.; great grandmother, Vera Faye Wammack; great-grandparents Harriett and William Rogers, Sr. and uncle, William Rogers Jr.

A Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 13, 2014 at New Hope Church.
