Glen Allen Younger

BAXTER SPRINGS, KANSAS: Glen Allen Younger, age 52 was found dead at his home Saturday, May 24, 2014.
He was born August 21, 1961 in San Pedro, California. He had lived in Baxter Springs most of his life moving from San Pedro.
Glen was a machinist. He last worked at William’s Machines, Galena, KS. He like to hang out at the VFW, Baxter Springs, KS. He enjoyed music and had been a drummer in the Brush Creek Band. His greatest joy was his two grandsons.
Surviving is one daughter, Krystal Ann Younger, Baxter Springs, KS; two grandsons, Avery Allen Butler, and Andrew Maurice Truster; two sisters, Tamara Ratzlaff, Diamond, MO, and Frankie Terhune, Plains, KS; uncle, Colen Younger, Baxter Springs, KS; aunt, Ruth Cook, Miami, OK; nieces, Sarah Garcia, Angela Reece, Alyssa Krause, Carly Thomas, Kari McNaughten; and one nephew, Sean Terhune.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, May 30, 2014 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS. Pastor Jeff D. Martin will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been opened at American Bank, Baxter Springs, KS to assist his daughter with expenses.
